There are so many nice shops in Rotterdam, but there is one shop I love to go to, GINZA at the Pannekoekstraat. I regularly stop here to be inspired by the great outfits displayed in the window. Or just to have a chat and some coffee with the owner and designer Margaret West. Margaret started out as a stylist. While styling the happy few and stars, she did styling for SATC (ok, bit of jealousy here…), she discovered a need for fine, good quality basics at a affordable prices. A new label was born, Margaret West.
Margaret West created a label with unique, soft basic elements that complement any female wardrobe. Fine cotton dresses, with our without prints, warm knits, soft tops and great T-shirts. I’m always inspired by how she uses colors. It’s in such a way that they complement each other. And enforce each other. This in my closet with a lot of all black outfits is refreshing. So when in need of some styling inspiration or adding nice elements to your fashion closet, visit GINZA. She can’t be missed in your shop routine.
A visit to the Pannekoekstraat is definitely a must-do anyway. Entrepeneurs, creativity and nice little cafés. Full of inspiration. Keep posted to learn more about this nice area in Rotterdam.
